We serve children and equip their parents/guardians to grow their kids into passionate Jesus-followers who love God and others. We do that through Biblically-based interactive activities, lessons and prayer times on Sundays and Wednesdays. In addition, we provide resources for families to continue the spiritual formation at home during the week. We encourage families to grow together by providing similarly-themed lessons that individual members of each family can use, designed to further their unique spiritual growth.

Character God’s Design Curriculum
We begin with large group games. Then children are divided into smaller groups and rotate to woodworking/craft time and interactive Bible time, ending with a snack before going home. Points and prizes are earned weekly.

Amy’s greatest passion is helping people know Jesus, grow in their faith, and discover that they have a place in the family of God. She loves creating spaces where children, families, and adults can feel welcomed, and known. She especially has a heart for people who may feel overlooked, hurting, or disconnected from the church.
Amy serves as the Director of Discipleship and Children’s Ministry. She is a graduate of Crown College with a degree in Christian Ministry and is a licensed worker with The Christian and Missionary Alliance. She loves teaching Scripture, encouraging others in their walk with Christ, and helping the church connect the truth of the Gospel with the real needs of people and families.
Amy is the proud mom of two sons, Cole and William, and mother-in-law to Marybeth. One of her favorite roles is being “Mimmi” to her grandson, Samson, better known as Mimmi’s boy. She also has two much-loved dogs, Rocco and Cocco, who keep life interesting.
When she isn’t serving in ministry or spending time with family, Amy enjoys camping, hiking, and collecting vinyl records.
